Financial Controller - IT - CA (18-23 yrs)
Role : Financial Controller
Location : Bangalore
Reporting to : Chief Financial Officer
Role Overview :
The Financial Controller will ensure effective and efficient operation of the compnay's business globally.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
- Stakeholder management
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Payroll processing
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
Qualifications and desired personal attributes
- Chartered Accountant with around 18+ years- experience, preferable in IT services organizations, Should have led the function for a minimum 5 years
- Proven experience in managing and developing a large team of finance professionals in a global environment
- Expert knowledge of and proven experience in handling complex accounting transactions
- Continuously identifies opportunities for process improvement with an eye for detail
- Outstanding communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
