Financial Controller - IT

- Our client is a leading IT Services company headquartered in Bengaluru with operations that span across India, Middle East, Europe and North America. Their operations have grown steadily each year and their current headcount stands at 8000 employees across the globe. Within India they are amongst the top five service providers and their roster of clients includes Fortune 1000 companies.

- For our client, we are looking for a Financial Controller, who shall be based at Bengaluru and manage the corporate finance for the organisation. As the leader of the accounting team, the Financial Controller shall maintain the financial health of the company. We are seeking an experienced controller to oversee a high-performing team.

- The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant in the industry, preferably in a senior role. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline accounting, compliances and financial reporting processes. The controller will also produce thorough financial-status reports for senior management to help improve the operational efficiency and aid in the continued growth.

- The Financial Controller shall be a Chartered Accountant with minimum 18 years of work experience, with the last 8 to 10 years in the technology industry.

- As the Financial Controller the roles and responsibilities shall include:

- Overall accounting and book keeping operations

- Internal and external audit management

- Direct and Indirect taxation

- Treasury management

- Maintaining sound relationship with the banking and financial institutions

- Shall be responsible for consolidation of accounts of all the entities and reporting

- GAAP reporting

- Statutory and regulatory compliances

- Provide accurate and timely information to the shareholders, including forecasting, budgeting, analysis and various management reports

- Payroll accounting and budgeting

- Preparing and finalisation of annual returns and submissions

- Maintain and update financial policies and procedures

Who are we looking for:

- Qualified Chartered accountant with 18+ years of experience

- The finance specialist shall during the last 8 to 10 years have been a part of the IT industry and have a strong understanding of the complexity of the technology industry

- Should have managed finance and accounting for a mid to large sized organisation

- Must be well versed with the accounting, taxation and statutory requirements - preferably certified taxation expert

- Good communication skills - should be adept in making presentations and reports to the management and shareholders and financial partners

- This role shall be located in Bengaluru
