- Responsible for assuring all financial and accounting operations are in compliance with GAAP. Develop local policies, SOPs and procedures where needed.
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures in a timely and accurate manner including preparation of monthly reconciliation of all key balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial results to management team
- Oversee general ledger, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Responsible for Business risk assessment and analysis
- Oversee Treasury and Taxation Management
- Manage day to day accounting activities and identify and implement more efficient and automated processes and procedures
- Prepare monthly expense reports for Business units with variances to budget and forecasts. Identify areas for costs savings and efficiencies
- Prepare information required for monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns
- Review and ensure strong financial controls are maintained in the business
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in Financial and Accounting, in which 5+ years in a controller position.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA
- Experience with IT services industry is a plus.
- Audit experience with Big 4 is a plus
- Must have strong knowledge and experience in financial fundamentals: accounting, budgeting, forecasting, international accounting standards, taxation and compliance regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills, foster an environment of collaboration and drive changes with implication beyond the finance function
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience implementing internal control procedures
- Exceptional organization techniques and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
