Financial Controller - Heavy Engineering & Manufacturing Segment - CA

Our client is one of the largest conglomerates in heavy engineering & manufacturing segment.

Presently, they seek to hire a Financial Controller for one of their international locations. The position is based in Oman. The role reports to the CFO and has a team of 3/4 people below him.

Key Responsibilities of the role are:

1. Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting

2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

3. High-level financial reporting and analysis

4. Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts

5. Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and projections to effectively manage cash balances

6. Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings

7. Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities

8. Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information

Ideal candidate should be a qualified CA with minimum 13+ years of experience in heavy engineering , manufacturing or steel industry.
