Financial Controller - FinTech (10-15 yrs)
- Heading finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial controls; analysing integrated financial models, consolidating and verifying all business assumptions
- Formulating need-based business strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation & realizing organizational goals
- Developing & maintaining adequate internal control system, preparing annual and periodic financial results, submitting the same to the management for review and control the finances
- Designing & implementing systems & procedures; supervising the consolidation of group accounts and preparation of financial statements & annual reports
- Supervising the preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance, through fund management, credit control & profitability
- Steering overall accounting operations and audit for the organization including collections, purchase, contract compliance, receivables, deposits, disbursements, payroll, fixed assets and inventory
- Preparing business vertical and SKU level profitability, month-on-month deviations and so on
- Formulating Annual Budgets, Quarterly Forecasts & Monthly Projections
- Finalizing statutory/tax audits with auditors and ensuring all compliances under regulatory acts and other statutory bodies
- Interfacing with various tax authorities for timely filing of TDS, Service Tax and Sales Tax Returns, Tax Assessments, Exemption related Benefits, Registrations
- Conducting variance analysis - Actuals vs. Forecast vs. Budget to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensuring compliance to the govt. rules and regulations as laid down by statutory authorities for assessment and filing of Sales Tax and Income Tax returns
- Liaising with statutory/internal auditors for timely completion of audits & implementation of audit observations
- Reviewing existing processes, and leading the implementation of systems aimed at enhancing process and operational efficiency of the organization
