Financial Controller- Financial Services Company

Our client is a leading financial services company is looking for a Financial Controller. The role reports into the CFO and will be based in Mumbai.

Key responsibilities :

1. Managing the accounting and operations, audit, fixed assets accounting

2. Lead financial reporting under IFRS and risk management

2. Overseeing and managing the accounts payable and receivables function, automating MISs'

3. SAP implementation

4. Managing vendors payments and take up cost control initiatives

Ideal candidate :

1. Strong accounting skills, ability to identify and resolve sticky issues in the balance sheet; abreast with changes in accounting standards, highly proficient in accounting for fixed assets

2. Proven exposure in SAP implementation and ultilising it optimally automations, pulling out MISs'

3. Excellent communication skills, should have an ability to influence senior management on the controllership function, highlight pain points and suggest resolution

4. Excellent team management skills, ability to manage large teams

5. CAs (highly preferred), with at least 10 years of proven experience in the required areas (points 1 to 4)

Please note : Business Finance is a separate function and hence outside the scope of the role
