Financial Controller - Category Finance

Responsibilities:

- Commercial Negotiations: Spearheading commercial negotiations with vendors & partners to establish agreements, that align with the company's objectives & maximize value.

- Process & controls: Implementation of internal controls and financial policies that safeguard our assets (inventory, fixed assets, people).

- Collections: Ensure all sale collections are reconciled. Any discrepancies need to be highlighted and appropriate action needs to be taken immediately.

- Inventory control: Review the process of every inventory movement in/out of store and monitor the controls around the same. Also work with Category & store teams to keep the inventory within the decided norms.

- Vendor Management: Lead accounts payable team and ensure no deviations with the set goals with clear philosophy of timely payments and vendor support as & when required.

- Working capital: Manage the cash flow of the business by keeping inventory under check and getting better credit on the purchases to ensure funds are not blocked in working capital.

- Taxation: Be the SPOC for all tax related requirements with the Tax consultant including but not limited to GST and any other taxes as required.

- SAP Coordinator: Be the FI expert to guide SAP team in developments/corrections as required and do UAT from Finance perspective and provide confirmations on new developments.

- Audit Coordinator: Be the SPOC for all audit matters.

- New store openings: Coordinate for all new store opening requirements including but not limited to EDC machines, Cash pickup, insurance, compliances, etc.
