Our client is a large player in the travel food and retail space. They are expanding their India presence and are getting more competent people as they scale up.
Role & Responsibilities:
- The role will be largely focused on Financial Controlling across various entities focusing on Accounting, Taxation, Controllership and Shared Services.
- Budget & Forecasting - coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budget with various departments, financial forecasts, and report variances. To develop the MIS structure (dashboards) as may be required by the management
- Cash flow efficiency - responsible for efficient operating cash-flow management and streamlining payables and receivables cycles.
- Build controls and mechanisms for timely collections to ensure better cash flow management
- Compliances for direct/indirect tax requirements, secretarial, legal & other statutory needs
- Experience in setting up systems, processes, policies etc.
- Consolidation of Accounting processes from decentralized to a centralized entity. Further they are also looking to outsource a lot of their accounting processes. Hence this individual will have to run with these projects /assignments.
- Should be essentially a team player being able to manage stakeholders - internal and external including auditors, vendors etc.
- Responsible for financial accounting, costing, audit, and statutory compliances - preparation of entity-wide consolidated financial statements and statutory audit
- Closely work with all departments to ensure adherence to expenses, legal & budgetary needs
- Should have worked in leadership roles handling large teams for at least 5 years
- Work closely with the CFO on all strategic initiatives
Candidate Profile :
- A qualified CA.
- Work experience in particular industries(FMCG/Food Industry/ Retail) will be an added advantage.
