We are working on mandates for Finance Controller roles in fast-growing startups in the E-Commerce and Consumer Tech sectors. These businesses are scaling rapidly and are seeking high-potential finance leaders to drive financial strategy and operational excellence.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6+ years of experience to take ownership of financial planning, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role is critical in building a robust finance function, optimizing cash flow, managing investor reporting, and ensuring the company's financial health as it scales.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

- Lead financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IND AS/ IFRS.

- Develop automated reporting dashboards for real-time business insights.

- Ensure timely book closure and oversee accounts payable, receivables, and reconciliations.

- Manage investor reporting and financial due diligence for fundraising rounds.

Compliance, Taxation & Audit:

- Ensure statutory compliance, GST, TDS, income tax filings, and regulatory obligations.

- Liaise with auditors, external consultants, and tax authorities.

- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6+ years of experience in financial controllership, FP&A, and compliance.

- Prior experience in startups, high-growth companies, or venture-funded businesses is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of IND AS, GST, TDS, and tax regulations.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial modeling, and investor reporting.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and build processes from scratch.

- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
