Financial Controller - CA

Job Description

Person will be responsible for overall accounting, tax and regulatory reporting/deliverables for all MoneyTap group entities

Roles and responsibilities:

- Preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements (as per regulatory requirements)

- Annual audit closures

- Quarterly financial reporting

- Handling all Direct and Indirect tax related compliances (TDS, GST etc)

- Monthly book closure

- Generation of monthly MIS containing key financial and other business parameters

- Handling banking activities

- Managing and supervising accounts payable activities (vendor/service providers/employee related payments)

- Processing monthly payroll

- Driving the cost control/reduction initiatives

- Assistance in Due diligence for Capital raise (as and when)

- Industry benchmarking and peer financials analysis

- Assistance in preparation of product P&L

- Assistance in preparation of Board decks

- Proactively responding and resolving requests/queries from various stakeholders

- Generation of adhoc MIS reports as and when required.

Job Requirements Skills

- Expertise in accounting and taxation area

- Excellent presentation and advanced excel skills

- High energy with a positive attitude is a must-have

- Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum and social skills

Qualifications

- Education - Chartered accountant

- Preferred work experience - 6-10 years of relevant work experience in Financial Services
