Financial Controller.

Preferred Industry: Services Industry (preferably Engineering MNCs).

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller, to undertake/oversee all aspects of financial management, transfer pricing, risk management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures with support of other internal and external partners within an organization, commiserate with the size of the organization.

Payroll, compliances, Taxation, Payments, Banking, etc are all being executed by third parties but approvals, oversight and coordination will need to be done by this individual performer who will report to the Manager of Operations.

Responsibilities:

- Manage/oversee/coordinate all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements as per business and company needs.

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

- Ensure that reporting complies with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), tax laws, labour laws and other statutory provisions.

- Oversee the management of payroll responsibilities.

- Oversee & manage all payment of invoices compliant to local regulatory and taxation laws while ensuring ENKA internal processes and authorities are complied.

- Management of Banking Interfaces for timely payments.

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

- Support month-end and year-end close process.

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Additional controller duties as necessary.

- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.

Requirements and skills:

- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or Manager of Accounts & Finance.

- 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience in service Industry preferably Engineering services.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

- Experience with creating financial statements.

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

- Good communication and people skills.
