Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic financial leader, responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through meticulous management of accounts, financial statements, and tax data. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the overall financial health and growth of the organization. -

Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

- Manage and oversee day-to-day company accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing insightful reports to senior management. -

- Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.

- Oversee the preparation and filing of accurate and timely financial reports.

- Manage and allocate accounts, ensuring proper categorization and reconciliation.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Assist in the development and execution of the company's financial strategy.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

- Oversee budget forecasting and cash flow management, providing accurate projections and recommendations.

- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance.

- Assist with financial planning, and modelling for future growth.

Compliance & Audit:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards (including US GAAP).

- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating the audit process and addressing any queries.

- Liaise with tax authorities, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

- Maintain up to date knowledge of all relevant compliance changes.

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for banks and other financial institutions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

- Education: Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency with current financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials, QuickBooks).

- Strong understanding of US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ethical and trustworthy.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).

- Experience with international taxation
