Financial Controller - BFSI

Our client is a global bank and financial services with operations across the globe. As part of global operations, they are actively seeking an experienced individual to be part of Financial Control team. This is newly created opportunity within Global Finance team to help take the organisation to the next level of support services.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Complete accountability of Legal Entity control.

- Evaluate GAAP and IFRS rules to determine impact of new regulations.

- Financial Statement consolidated reviews in accordance with accounting and regulatory disclosure requirements - IFRS & US GAAP.

- Deliver data and content on financial and extra financial risks for internal stakeholders globally.

- Providing strategic support to business leaders.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Qualified Accountant - CA, CPA, ACCA OR MBA (Finance).

- At least 15+ years of post-qualification experience in a Financial Control or similar environment.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP / IFRS Accounting and Reporting.

- Significant experience in leading Financial Control / Legal Entity Control functions.

- Strong inter-personal skills and evidence of working across teams and geographies to produce timely and accurate output.
