Financial Controller - Automotive - CA (10-20 yrs)
- Responsibilities KPI's Knowledge & Experience Competencies
- Manage the operations of the local finance & accounting department.
- Ensure all accounting practices are prepared on a timely basis and reported in accordance with local, US GAAP .
- Analysis and interpretation of financial data and recommendations to management of changes to improve systems and financial performance.
- Maintain an effective internal control environment in accordance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act, and Compliance policies and guidelines.
- Serve as the primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues.
- Design, establish, and develop an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives.
- Direct the preparation of annual budgets and investment proposals.
- Coordination of year end audits.
- Lead or participate in special projects as needed.
- Liase with Shared Service team to ensure timely Finance close.
- Master/Bachelor degree in Business or Accounting.
Certifications - CA
- (ICWA an added advantage)
- 15 to 20 years of successful and demonstrable experience.
- Previous experience as financial controller /director required.
- A strong working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley required.
- Solid knowledge of India/local statutory requirements and tax laws.
- Experience in a US multi-national manufacturing company.
- Excellent computer skills and experience with accounting software & Microsoft Office applications.
- SAP/ERP experience is an added advantage.
