Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting:

- Oversee the entire accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

- Manage the monthly closing process and reconcile all accounts.

- Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses for management review.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

- Develop and implement a robust system of internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with all accounting regulations.

- Manage the internal audit process and address any identified control weaknesses.

Financial Analysis & Risk Management:

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide insightful recommendations to management.

- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Partner with other departments (e., Operations, Sales, Marketing) to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

- Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification a plus).

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a finance controller or similar accounting leadership role.

- Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of the accounting function
