Job Description:

- The Manager - Financial Controls is responsible for enforcing robust financial governance through the evaluation and approval of contracts, POs, and business cases.

- The role ensures cost control, ROI validation, and performance analysis to support data-driven decision-making.

- The position demands strong financial acumen, compliance orientation, and strategic thinking to enhance profitability and reduce financial risk.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and approve commercial contracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements in line with company policies.

- Analyze commercial terms and assess risk exposure of financial transactions.

- Validate business cases and perform ROI analysis for projects and strategic initiatives.

- Collaborate with business units to ensure cost-effectiveness of investments and expenses.

- Monitor operational and capital expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.

- Identify and implement cost optimization measures and financial efficiencies.

- Ensure adherence to statutory and internal financial compliance.

- Develop and enforce SOPs related to finance, business controls, and risk management.

- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audits.

- Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and insights.

Scope of work:


- The role encompasses the financial control of commercial operations across the organization, involving contract review, expense monitoring, business case validation, and compliance enforcement.

- The incumbent will act as a key advisor to leadership, ensuring business decisions are financially sound and aligned with strategic goals.

- The role also involves developing frameworks for risk mitigation, driving cost efficiency, and maintaining financial discipline across departments.
