Requirement : The position is a financial consulting role within the highly dynamic and fast paced world of alternative investments. The primary responsibility would involve working closely with clients in supporting them on live investment transactions - right from pre-screening and investment analysis to portfolio monitoring. The role entails working with global institutional investors such as investment banks, hedge funds and private equity firms. Key Responsibilities : - Work closely with the clients in supporting them for various investment transactions across NPL, real estate and securitized products (RMBS, CMBS and CLOs etc.) - Ability to read and extract useful modelling inputs from documents such as Information Memorandums, servicer agreements, valuation and legal reports - Create credible, flexible and fully transparent financial models - Provide on-going support on existing and new models developed for the client - Liaise with third-parties on behalf of clients - Conceptualize key drivers and triggers to monitor the transactions - Provide support for pre-deal analysis, financial due diligence and post-deal analysis Required Skills : - Basic understanding of the credit and alternative investments space including securitized products such as RMBS, CMBS, CLOs - In-depth understanding of business valuations concepts using multiple approaches - Extreme attention to detail and a logical thought process to analyse large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data - High level of proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel and VBA - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team - Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) - Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict and aggressive deadlines Desired Candidate Profile: - Candidate must be a graduate from top tier engineering college with 1+ years of work experience in finance industry - Candidates with experience working for Investment Banks or Investment Management firms would be desirous
