Financial Analyst - Non Profits/NGO

- Work with India Financial Controller to monitor and review field budget execution/ burn rate status and project effective forward spend strategy (MIS to be created and owned by the Finance team)

- Responsible for reviewing financial management (budget versus spends including sub-grants, taxes, direct charging), review financial reporting for donors etc. and monitoring financial close-out of projects.

- Manage a calendar of donor financial reports, and work with project and finance teams to ensure their timely delivery Coordination with HQ

- Responsible for developing and updating annual budget

- Arrange kickoff meeting at start of new projects coordinate with Project Managers to develop work plans, project budgets and staffing plans to help plan rollout during start-up phase

- Support India Program Development team on cost proposals

- Lead the development of program budgets to be submitted to donors for all new funding opportunities.

- Ensure that all proposals meet the documentation, due diligence, and compliance requirements of the donor.

- Manage donor outreach database

- Manage organizational systems and processes to capture new business opportunities, and to track and record new business activities.

- Provide inputs on areas such as proposal management, writing and research, as needed
