Minimum Qualification (i.e education, training etc.) :


- MBA from tier I college /CA Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred 5+ years of experience in financial analysis with a strong background in financial modelling and forecasting.


- Previous real estate securities or equity analysis background is preferred. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques, with advanced Excel skills and experience using financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, Capital IQ).


- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively. Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, accounting standards, and M&A transaction structures.


- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Demonstrated track record of successfully executing M&A transactions from inception to closure. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Demonstrated quantitative, data analysis and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills

Overall Purpose/Objective:

For the job, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst specialised in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, building complex financial models, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes related to M&A transactions. This role requires proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles.

Key Responsibilities (List major responsibilities that you have to achieve the key objectives):


- Conduct financial analysis to assess the financial performance, profitability, and risks associated with potential M&A opportunities. Develop comprehensive financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), merger consequences, accretion/dilution analysis, synergy analysis, and scenario analysis.


- Perform valuation assessments utilising various methodologies such as comparable company analysis (CCA), precedent transactions analysis (PTA), and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate development, finance, legal, and senior management, to evaluate potential M&A targets and negotiate deal terms. Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and reports summarising findings and recommendations for senior leadership and the board of directors.


- Assist in due diligence efforts by analysing financial statements, conducting industry research, and identifying key drivers and risks. Provide support in structuring and negotiating transaction terms, including purchase price adjustments, earn-outs, and financing arrangements. Monitor and track industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify potential acquisition targets and opportunities for strategic partnerships.

- Participate in post-merger integration activities, including financial forecasting, synergy realisation tracking, and performance monitoring. Continuously evaluate and improve financial modelling methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
