Financial Analyst - Education (3-5 yrs)
The Role
As a Financial Analyst, the incumbent will make sure the data provided to him from various sources are analysed and presented to the reporting manager. The presentation must include the critical and logical understanding of the data that make sense to the audience. The data sources typically include data from sales, crm, leads, enquiries, accounting & finance, etc. The incumbent will be required to collect information from other companies and organizations (publicly available data) as and when requirement comes.
Job Responsibilities
1. Prepare financial models, presentations for new businesses and present to the manager.
2. Analysing data and identifying opportunities and risks related to company and industry.
3. Providing views on companies with detailed financial analysis and recommendations on whether to buy, hold, or sell a particular investment.
4. Evaluate deals and their structures - term sheets, documentation, due diligence.
5. Coordinate with various departments and vendors for end-to-end execution of strategic projects.
6. Provide thought leadership to internal departments - sales, marketing, finance and accounts
Desired Qualifications and attributes
1. Engineering, and or MBA from reputed institutes.
2. 3+ years of work-experience preferred in any one of these functions: equity research, consultancy and strategy.
3. Self-starter with analytical mindset and problem-solving capability
