We are looking for a Financial Analyst for their Mumbai office (Goregaon) location. The brief profile would be as below:

Financial Analyst – India Region

Key Roles: Financial Planning and Budgeting:

- Creation of Annual Business Plans through active co-ordination with Sales / Marketing and Operations functions

- Develop Expense Budgets and operations KRAs through co-ordination with functional heads ensuring that functional goal are in sync with the India Affiliate goals

- Develop Income Statement and EBIDTA targets

- Secure management approval of the business plan

MIS and Performance Reporting:

- Internal and External MIS reporting, analysis of the variances/trends with underlying business contributors

- Provide insights into business performance

- Drive business reviews/track action items and progress

Post Plan Control :

- Tracking performance / contingency planning / controlling budgets, developing rolling forecasts, tracking post plan trends

Pricing strategies :

- Develop pricing scenarios which ensure competitiveness in the market place and maximize realizations. Obtain local / corporate approvals from management wherever mandated.

Business Case development / Financial Analytics / Internal Controls: Assist the Finance Director in -

- Financial Analysis of business initiatives

- Strengthening internal control processes and improve IT systems

- Developing/establishment of key policy framework, develop manuals and policies reflecting best financial practices

- Cost management

- Working capital management

- Company Secretary and Company Law Compliance – Carry out secretarial/company law compliance, act as the contact between the board of directors, management, internal departments, government organizations, institutions and other external agencies with the objective of ensuring transparency in the operations of the company within the statutory and company guidelines and framework

Reporting To: Finance Director – India Region

Academic Qualification: Must be a CA & CS - qualified

Technical skills / Business knowledge:

- Business case Analysis ( NPV/IRR, Break even analysis, Cost benefit analysis, CAGRs)

- Costing Techniques (batch/process costing, yield analysis, marginal costing )

- Financial Planning Analysis ( forecasting, harmonization of budgets, rationalization of trends,

- Pricing/Deals & Discounts planning, EBIDTA: Opex ratios, DOS, DSO)

- Knowledge of Tally is preferred, SAP knowledge will be an added advantage

- Company Law and Secretarial compliance

Soft Skills:

- Strong Communication skills – both verbal and written

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail

- Influencing / managing for results - operating in a complex / multi task role

- Good Interpersonal and relationships

- Planning, prioritizing, self-management

Experience:

- 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience;

- Background of working in MNCs/FMCG preferred

Location: Mumbai

Salary: Not a constraint for the deserving candidate, 10-15 lac per annum +
