Financial Analyst - CA (1-4 yrs)
Job Title: Financial Analyst (CA Mandatory)
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Business Finance Team at Appario. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for owning the P&L for one of our product categories, including financial metrics, reporting, forecasting, and analysis. You will partner with category leadership to drive critical business goals and facilitate financial reviews with the business group.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses and financial modelling to present recommendations to category leadership on strategic decisions and planning future initiatives.
- Work closely with the business team to drive critical business goals like vendor terms improvement, and operational costs, and contribute to Free Cash flows.
- Provide controllership to the business and build processes that augment transparency and improve controls.
- Manage financial reporting and analysis, forecasting product lines using the key input levers to the business - pricing, selection, and convenience.
- Facilitate weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews with data analysis and follow through with the business team on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period.
- Work with the accounting team to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial book close processes for the category.
Requirements:
- CA with 1 to 2 years of working experience in a relevant role and company.
- Strong ownership, passion for achieving results, diving deep into numbers and gathering insights from the numbers.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence without authority and earn trust with stakeholders and team members.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with a track record of effectively managing finances for a high-growth business.
- Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
