Finance Project Manager - Telecom/Semiconductors (10-15 yrs)

- As a Finance Project Manager, you will be responsible for working with leadership teams primarily in the Finance area to develop project definition and scope, provide appropriate communication and facilitate change management. This role will ensure accurate design and tracking of projects to predict results and outcomes critical to success.


- Analysis of project progress in terms of root cause analysis, pay-back assessment, risk, resources consumption, interdependencies and gaps are also key functions of the project manager responsibilities.

- The candidate should be an inspiring team leader in modern finance/operations tools & technologies partnering with Global/Regional leaders for standardization, digitization and transformation initiatives.

- To excel in this position, the candidate must also be able to think strategically, while also be willing & be able to execute and see plans through to completion.

- India plays a meaningful role in strengthening our global footprint and the candidate would be working closely with the India Leadership team. India currently have a high growth plans with HC projections of around 5,000 TM by FY-23. The candidate would be exposed to opportunities across functions like facilities, procurement, IT etc. and also benefit individual career by working in a fast paced growth environment.

Responsibilities:

Support Strategic Initiatives: Work with India Finance Director, other global finance leaders and India leadership team in driving strategic initiatives/projects around standardization, digitization and transformation driving higher productivity & operational effectiveness.

- Oversee large, often cross-functional, organization-wide projects or initiatives, bring together important stakeholders and help drive decisions.

- Research, perform benchmarking, analyze data, and make recommendations.

- Propose the creation of new systems and processes to streamline operations wherever required.

- Ensure delivery of quality and timely financial data in support of the monthly processes

- Partner with country Finance Director to ensure Finance is providing the desired services in a quality and timely manner

- Provide a clear vision of continuous improvement activities

Initiate and Plan Projects :

- Define scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders

- Define alignment of projects to company and or Finance strategic objectives

- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools

- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle

- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas

Execute, Monitor/Control and Close Projects :

- Communicate with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis

- Track project milestones and deliverables

- Manage changes in project scope

- Identify potential crises, and develop and execute resolution plans

- Facilitate projects to sustaining mode or close out projects

- Perform tasks as required to execute projects

Manage Project Teams :

- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team

- Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members

- Provide recognition for progress and project member contributions

- Improve Project Management Process

- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations based on successful and unsuccessful project elements

- Identify and implement best practices and use experience to evolve internal processes

- Promote project management value and business practices to the organization

- Provide Project Management expertise

Minimum Qualifications :

- Chartered Accountant or MBA from a reputed Institute

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance and accounting role with minimum 4 years of leadership experience.

- Experience in the IT and/or semiconductor industry highly desired.

- Demonstrated consistently strong organization and program management skills; experience in change management and corporate culture is a plus.

- Inventive, ambitious and able to independently prioritize shifting workloads in a fast-growing, ever-changing environment.

- Strong collaboration with excellent communications skills who can work across teams to build consensus.

- Ability to develop and understand policies, procedures, and department objectives and apply that knowledge when making decisions
