Finance Operations Service Lead Key Accountabilities: - Provide leadership in delivery of all Finance Operations activities (Including Transactional Finance and Subject Matter Expertise roles located in the SSC) - Responsible for the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all SSC activities - meet or exceed agreed service level agreements. - Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure the immediate resolution of problems as well as being responsive to future needs; manage customer problem resolution and escalation. - Control costs by managing the overall budget of Finance Operations, monitoring savings objectives. - Identify and recommend necessary improvements in Finance processes and supports their deployment. - Assist in the negotiation of service level agreements. - Ensure internal controls are executed and maintained, coordinate audit and compliance activities. - Monitor and manage performance measures (as defined by the Service Management Framework) - Manage relationships with key stakeholders and within the Governance Framework Skills required: - Qualified Accountant with over 15+ post qualification experience with listed multinational company within corporate finance and in a leadership capacity in a similar operational environment - Experience of Oracle Fusion and related financial systems - Understanding of SSC best practices - Shared Services implementation experience - Experience of creating continuous improvement frameworks and embedding a CI focus and culture in teams - People management and development skills - Knowledge and practical experience of change management models and practices - Excellent written and oral communication skills - IFRS Knowledge preferred
