Finance Modelling Role - Consulting Firm (3-8 yrs)
Finance Modelling
- Experience of working in Consulting firms of 3+ years or equity research, investment banking and corporate finance.
- Experience of detailed financial modelling, financial analysis and comparison and business valuations
- Experience of project delivery, report writing and team management
Key consulting sectors:
- Emerging digital sectors (Unicorns, start-ups, tech-based businesses)
- Good to have - Media and Entertainment (OTT, Audio, Video, Gaming, Television, Digital News, Animation & VFX, Content, Advertising, NFTs in M&E)
- Extensive experience of being fully accountable for project / programme delivery across a range of Finance and/or Global Business Services projects, with the ability to align traditional management techniques with agile ways of working
- Experience in financial modelling, including experience building models from scratch in MS Excel and related software preferred
- Experience in building financial valuation models across methodologies
- Experience in building business models independently, covering all aspects of financial statements and sensitivity analysis
- Ability to design, develop and interpret financial statements, reports, and dashboards as per business requirement
- Ability to analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin.
- Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast based on project requirements
- Understanding of KPIs across multiple industries and preparation of three tier statements from scratch by identifying right drivers in the industry
- Perform Scenario and sensitivity analysis on the financial models
