Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager
What you'll do: Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to engage in day-to-day accounting operations and financial analysis in areas such as book-keeping, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance.
Accounting responsibilities:- Full cycle accounts payable: entering in vendor invoices and credit memos, selection of vendors and disbursements
- Maintain vendor profiles as well and obtaining W-9s are required by US government
- Assisting with US and Indian tax filings
- Posting of bank transactions and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Full cycle accounts receivables: Create customer invoices, post deposits or cash receipts, collections
- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements in coordination with associated Tax and auditing firms in India and USA
Other responsibilities:- Payroll Management
- Prepare financial forecasts based upon inputs from various teams and management.
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
- Work with product and sales team in preparing monthly account and revenue statements
- Monthly Management Report (MIS) including cash-flows and preparation of consolidated financial statements of US and Indian entity with the help of external auditing firms
- Maintaining accuracy of the data published in the invoicing, sales accounting tools by identifying and eradicating errors
- Identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements
- Continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes
- Oversee the external /internal audit, review and analyze results
Experience and Qualifications:- Full-time Master's Degree in Finance /C.A. from reputed Institution. Accounts and Mathematics should be one of the major subjects at Graduation level with CGPA 7.0 / score 70%.
- Excellent Academic background throughout with Convent schooling.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Capable of handling general accounting and book-keeping independently
- Excellent in Ms-Excel, Ms-office, Accounting tools and other Invoicing tools
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with US and Indian auditing firms
- Good analytical skills, attention to details and strong inclination towards numbers
- Candidates with experience in Quickbooks or similar accounting tools preferred
- Experience in US GAAP and IND AS would be preferred
- Hands-on experience on preparing financial models and business projections
- Exposure to Sales CRM will be an added advantage
