About Client: Our client is a part of the diversified group who do have a presence in dealing with a wide range of industries, including FMCG, Hospitality & Real Estate, and Packaging Materials. Our client has recently opened its newest factory in Iraq in November 2020. This state-of-the-art, 34,400 m2 manufacturing facility is located just South of Baghdad. About the Role: - Review monthly plant overhead analysis with comparison to budgets and previous years. - Assess all plant KPIs & overheads with the plant management team & setting up of targets - Prepare and analyze material & price usage variances, verification, and checking of BOM upload in the system - Manage the working capital for plant payments - Costing of new products & feasibility report - Be a key member of the Purchase Committee for all Capex and major operational purchases - Verify costing for all SKUs on a regular basis & allocation of overheads - Ensure reconciliation of goods dispatched out of the factory to consignee agents & movements between CFA's. - Adhere to all statutory, legal, and tax requirements for all departments - Supervise sales tax, additional goods tax & service tax payments & returns filing - Lead the closure of monthly accounts & reporting - Fix asset capitalization, reconciliation of FA register with GL, depreciation checking & verification - Review contracts to ensure completeness and compliance with the contract checklist.
