Job Description

- A leading online classifieds advertising company and the online classifieds leader in India, is looking for a motivated Finance Managerwho will be responsible for all financial and fiscal tasks for Indian operations. These include monthly and quarterly financial budget and forecast, the annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, business reporting and a variety of other projects. The ideal candidate is a Finance ‘jack of all trades’ who has had prior experience in traditional accounting and financial planning and analysis functions.

Responsibilities

- Manage all financial tasks of India.Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, Capex, OPEX, monthly close, account receivables, account payables, and business drivers.

- Take the lead on the local annual budgeting, quarterly re-forecasting, and ad-hoc based reporting

- Create, prepare, and present the Monthly Regional Finance Report to NY based Finance team and local management (includes variance analysis of actual results to budgets, prior forecasts and re-forecasts)

- Manage accounting functions of Accounts Payable, Banking, Journal Entries, etc.

- Manage P&L and Balance Sheet for the India subsidiary

- Close the monthly financials for the India subsidiary within the NetSuite accounting software and report for global consolidation

- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis, often in close cooperationwith business intelligence teams

- Support CEO of India by analyzing complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for decision making purposes

- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives

- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies.

- Manage relationship with third party accounting firm.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Qualified Chartered Account – 1st or 2nd Attempt only; MBA is a plus

- 5+ years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis with an accounting background

- Knowledge of USGAAP and India Statutory reporting

- Experience in global, multi-subsidiary, multi-currency environments

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint

- Knowledge of OLAP based reporting tools such as Host Analytics or Hyperion (Essbase) is preferred

- Internet industry experience preferred

- Advanced Project management skills - proven ability to define effective project plans, prioritize varying commitments and managing/directing team accordingly.

- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated

- Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems with a level of comfort around changing requirements

- Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints and deliver strong results

- Commitment to culture of collaboration, performance, transparency and integrity

- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to define and execute to vision of Finance group
