Ajay Sekhri & Co is seeking a skilled and experienced CA with a strong background in statutory audits, income tax returns, and tax audits to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the audit and taxation field, with proficiency in handling a variety of tasks related to both compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Audit:

- Planning and conducting statutory audits for various clients across industries.

- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

- Ensuring adherence to relevant statutory laws and regulations.

Income Tax Returns:

- Preparing and filing income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies.

- Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients based on their specific needs.

- Ensuring timely and accurate tax filing in compliance with income tax laws.

Tax Audits:

- Conducting tax audits under Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act.

- Preparing and submitting audit reports with attention to detail and compliance requirements.

- Identifying and advising clients on potential tax-saving opportunities and strategies.

Client Interaction:

- Regular client communication to understand requirements, address concerns, and provide

advice.

- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.

Team Collaboration:

- Working closely with senior management and team members on various audits and tax-related tasks.

- Assisting in the training and development of junior staff members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: CA

- Experience: Minimum 5 years in statutory audits, income tax return preparation, and tax

audits.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of tax laws, Income Tax Act, GST, and auditing standards.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting and auditing software, as well as MS Excel.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.

- Location: Must be located in Mumbai or willing to relocate to Bandra East, Mumbai.
