Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in accounts payable, taxation, financial transactions, and fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive finance professional with a strategic mindset, capable of managing day-to-day financial operations while also supporting high-level financial planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Transactions:

- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, approvals, and timely disbursements.

- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies.

- Monitor and manage daily financial transactions including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger management.

- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.

Taxation & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).

- Handle tax planning, computation, and filing of returns.

- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for tax audits and assessments.

- Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation.

Fund Management & Fundraising:

- Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and ensure efficient working capital management.

- Liaise with banks and financial institutions for fundraising activities including loans, credit lines, and other instruments.

- Prepare financial models, pitch decks, and documentation for fundraising.

- Negotiate terms and ensure compliance with financial covenants.

Reporting & MIS:

- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.

- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

Audit & Controls:

- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.

- Implement internal financial controls and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Drive process improvements and automation in finance functions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, etc.) and MS Excel.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Experience in handling financial institutions and fundraising processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA with 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Experience in [industry/sector - e.g. manufacturing, startup, Saas, fintech, etc.].

- Prior experience in fundraising or investor relations is a strong plus.
