Finance Lead - eCommerce/D2C - CA

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Lead to head the finance function of our clients dynamic and fast-growing eCommerce company. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and prior experience in scaling finance operations.

A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Finance Function : Own and drive all finance and accounting activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit, compliance, and internal controls.

- Financial Planning & Analysis : Provide strategic inputs through robust financial modeling, variance analysis, and scenario planning to support business decisions.

- Accounting & Compliance : Ensure accurate and timely accounting in compliance with Indian GAAP, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

- Cash Flow & Treasury Management : Manage working capital, vendor payments, fund flows, and banking relationships efficiently.

- Team Leadership : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team; establish processes and best practices for smooth operations.

- Audit & Internal Controls : Lead statutory and internal audits, implement control mechanisms to minimize financial risk.

- Stakeholder Reporting : Prepare and present financial performance reports to management, board, and investors.

Requirements:

- Qualified (CA) with 7-12 years of experience, preferably in eCommerce, retail, or high-growth startups.

- Hands-on, execution-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
