Finance Lead - Corporate Finance - Financial Shared Services Center

Our client is a leading European Financial services firm setting up its GCC/Shared Service center India. They are hiring a Finance-Lead (Corporate Finance team) with experience in IT/ITeS/KPO industry

Overview -

Responsible for managing the finance function for India SSC. This includes financial control, business control, internal and external reporting and steering information for internal management and external stakeholders/customers, accounting, forecasting, budgeting and monitoring business results, insurance and tax.

Roles & Responsibilities -

- Works within the Group Finance policies, standards, RCF, systems and procedures, insurance and claims policy and guidelines

- Complies with local legislation including tax regulations, IFRS

- Business strategy, annual plans and reporting cycle

- Functional reporting to the Group Finance department

- Facility management policy; contracts with suppliers

- Compliance with local legislation and group policies and standards, IFRS

- Timely and correct delivery of data and reports, internal and external audit rating; accurate and timely month and year end and other periodic figures/reports

- Co-responsible for country financial results

- Score on financial audits / internal and external and follow up on recommendations; clean books and - balance sheet

- Quality of advice on the improvement of business results, analyses of plans, budgets, forecasts, investments and financial results

- Financially in control; efficient and effective functioning of the risk control framework

- Well organized financial and administrative processes

- Efficiency, cost effectiveness of insurance covers; timeliness of recovery of damage claims

Experience - Prior work-experience in corporate finance team of a ITeS/IT/KPO industry is a must.
