Job Summary:

The Finance Head is responsible for leading and overseeing group of the company's financial operations, financial planning and execution ,ensuring financial health of each company, driving strategic growth, and managing risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, driving financial strategy, and optimizing the company's financial performance, risk management, cost control, product inventory management, employee pay roll management, and leading team & reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Planning

- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.

- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team.

2. Financial Management & Reporting

- Ensure accurate financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

- Manage and oversee financial audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance.

- Present financial reports and key metrics to the board and senior management.

3. Risk Management & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations.

- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

- Monitor tax planning, compliance, and risk management policies.

4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.

- Optimize banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment decisions.

- Manage debt financing and capital structure.

5. Cost Optimization & Profitability

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiencies.

- Drive margin improvement strategies and optimize pricing models.

- Analyze financial data to support decision-making on investments and expansions.

6. Leadership & Team Management

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.

- Develop financial training programs for internal teams.

- Collaborate with other departments to drive financial accountability.

7. Product Inventory Management: Overview, Strategies & Best Practices

- Inventory Tracking & Categorization

- Stock Classification:

- Batch & Serial Number Tracking:

8. Tax Compliance & Reporting

- A Finance Head plays a crucial role in ensuring that the company adheres to financial regulations, tax laws, corporate governance standards, and internal controls. Here's how a Finance Head ensures compliance across various financial activities:

- Coordination and Work with auditors to ensure seamless financial audits with external Auditor

- Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate filing of corporate taxes, GST/VAT, TDS, and payroll taxes.

- Tax Planning & Risk Management: Implement strategies to optimize tax liabilities without violating tax laws.

- Timely Tax Filings & Audits: Avoid penalties by ensuring all tax deadlines are met.

9. Technology & Software Solutions

- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Integrates inventory with finance, sales, and supply chain.

10. Best Practices for Compliance Management

- Implement compliance software to automate tax filings and reporting.

- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial processes.

- Conduct regular training for finance teams on regulatory updates.

- Maintain a compliance calendar to track important deadlines.

- Collaborate with legal & audit teams to ensure end-to-end compliance.

Key Requirements:

- Education: CA / CPA / CFA / MBA in Finance or related field.

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in financial management, with leadership roles in similar industries.

- Skills:

o Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.

o Expertise in taxation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

o Proficiency in financial software (365 dynamic, SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).

o Excellent communication and leadership skills.
