Finance Controller - NBFC (10-15 yrs)

One of our renowned Client from NBFC sector dealing with multiple financial products with national presence is looking for Financial Controller for their Corporate Office located in Mumbai. Reporting to CFO.

Position Description :

Our Client is looking for a Financial Controller, to join its management team with rich experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting, Budgeting, Statutory Compliances i.e. Income Tax, Companies Act, Service Tax, VAT and CST, ROC filings, Payroll, Audits and transfer Pricing cases. This position is located at our Mumbai Office.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, implement Financial controls and oversee define financial procedure and process.

- Review budgets, cash flow, financial and management accounts.

- Candidate must be strong in financial reporting and skilled at in-depth financial analysis and providing expert financial perspective and opinions.

- Finalization of Annual Books of Accounts, Balance Sheet and Financial Reporting

- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements that are appropriate for All stakeholders in accordance with prevailing accounting principles.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts.

- Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to budget.

- Manage cash flow process including generating cash flow forecast reports.

- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.

- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.

- Ensure all statutory requirements of the organization are met including income tax, sales tax, etc.

- Adds value to the business by improving reporting.

- Timely Communicate clearly and regularly with team and business unit.

- Establish personal rapport and trust with internal and external customers through regular communication, delivering on all promises, and open communication when difficulties arise.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Proven track record of success as a value-added controller. The successful candidate should be a Chartered Accountant.

- 9+ years of Controller experience preferably from BFSI sector

Skills :

- A firm grasp on numbers.

- Passion for details and ability to explain them.

- Strong English communication skills both oral and written are mandatory.

- Back end knowledge of the Digital Content industry.

- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendation on business issues.

- Ability to work in team environment and manage and lead a team.
