Finance Controller - Manufacturing - CA (6-10 yrs)
We have an exciting opportunity with a leading Manufacturing Company
Following are the details:-
Position: Finance Controller
Qualification: CA
Location: Mumbai
Job Description:-
- Prepare accurate periodic Reporting to Group along with the analytical review against prior year and budget.
- Submission of the reports required with the Group periodically on time.
- Visit Distribution Centres at 6 locations and review the operations in line with the guidelines and documentation.
- Identify and analyse potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
- Co-ordinate with the Internal Auditor to conduct internal audit and stock verification quarterly
- Review of debtors every period for the outstanding invoice wise. Compliances with the statutory payments for TDS, Service Tax, VAT etc.
- Managing a team of GL Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Responsible for Financial Control Reporting and analysis for variances to Plan/Forecast.
- Responsible for all accounting work and month end closing procedures to strict close deadlines.
- Ownership of all balance sheet account reconciliations to be performed/reviewed monthly. Prepare all information for review with Regional Financial Controller monthly.
- Co-ordinate detailed cash flow reporting for the country on a monthly basis and ensure that corporate treasury policy is followed throughout
- Ensure compliance to all internal policies and controls (e.g. expenses, travel policy, billing policy etc.), providing review and sign-off
Skills Required: -
- Proven track record from a Controller role with excellent financial control and co-piloting skills
- Knowledge of USGAAP, IFRS and Navision is valuable
- Fluency in English is required.
- Strong MS office skill.
