Finance Controller- IT
Job Description:
Financial Management:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure robust financial reporting.
- Ensure proper implementation of accounting policies and procedures across the organization.
Budgeting and Forecasting:- Lead the annual budgeting process, including departmental budget alignment and cost rationalization.
- Develop and monitor forecasts, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
Internal Controls and Compliance:- Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment, mitigating financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate laws, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors for audits and reviews.
Operational Excellence:- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
- Drive automation and optimization of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to enhance financial transparency and accuracy.
Team Leadership:- Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, ensuring skill enhancement and career development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
Stakeholder Management:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and operations, to drive business growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for banks, financial institutions, and investors for financial matters.
Requirements:- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA)/CPA/MBA in Finance.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15+ years in finance and controllership roles, preferably in IT/Technology MNCs.
- Proven experience in handling multi-entity, multi-currency financial operations.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
