Finance Controller - Internet/Online - CA

The financial controller will build and lead an agile, high performing controllership function and will:

- Lead ERP setup including identification and building of ERP platform for the whole company

- Lead the preparation and reporting of consolidated financial statements (Consolidation across multiple subsidiaries)

- Proper structuring and accounting of Private Equity and Venture capital equity investment in the company including debt structures

- Complete end to end responsibility for Direct and Indirect tax including interaction with external consultants for tax structuring & efficiency to be compliant with relevant laws, and attending tax assessments

- Set up and structuring of legal entities in most tax efficient manner considering GST, direct taxes while ensuring compliance

- Conduct successful audits (statutory, tax, and internal)

- Set up strong balance sheet substantiation, build corporate controllership policies for the company

- Embed strong month-end reporting process and controls

- Managing payroll related compliance and insurance and asset control

- Liaise with outsourced service provider to ensure quality output

- Manage the budgeting process - Prepare budgets of the company and publish variance analysis post discussion with function heads.

- Maintain the reporting process up to date by preparing MIS and investors- information packs on timely basis.

Background & Experience:

- CA with 6-10 years of experience in Finance.

- Should have previously led controllership function and have been exposed to consolidation and business acquisition process in a mid-size company.

- Good knowledge of ERP and its implementation. Experience in post-merger ERP consolidation is an added advantage.

- Background in startups / ecommerce / ecommerce merchants- businesses / PE / VC is an advantage but not a requirement.
