Finance Controller - Healthcare (10-18 yrs)

Position of a Financial Controller for Egypt for a top Indian healthcare organization for its subsidiary in Egypt (Candidates with experience in Egypt will ONLY be considered.

Manufacturing industry experience is a must. Preference for Pharma, FMCG, Chemicals industry)

This position is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of the subsidiary. This includes but is not limited to Budgeting & Forecasting, Accounting & Finance Controlling, MIS reporting, etc.

I. Accounting & Controlling:

1. Managing day to day accounting and financial transactions

2. Managing the payroll computation and disbursement

3. Consolidate monthly/quarterly/yearly closing of books and submission of IFRS financial statements to HO

4. Handling of annual statutory audit and finalization of financial statements

5. Inter-company transactions accounting and liaising with distributor for such transactions

6. Ensure compliance to Credit Control Policy

7. Ensure Cash Flow Management and monitor Budgetary Control

II. Budgeting & Forecasting:

1. Consolidate various departments proposed annual budget

2. Prepare and seek approval of consolidated annual budget from HO

3. Monitor actual expense against budget to ensure operational and staff cost are within the target budget of the company

III. Taxation and Secretarial:

1. Handling scrutiny and audit conducted by local tax authority

2. Ensure proper deduction of withholding taxes on transaction

3. Enable accurate computation of taxes and filing of tax returns on time

4. Liaise with tax consultants

IV. Inventory:

1. Oversee and manages products Inventory

2. Conduct physical verification of inventory at distributor warehouse

3. Approves destruction of damaged/expired products

V. MIS Reporting and Submission -

1. Prepare monthly Finance MIS reports for the subsidiary

2. Implementation of policy and procedures to improve internal control and manage the operation effectively

3. Atomization of process and system to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of department

4. Monitor submission of various statutory reports

VI. Internal and External Transactions:

1. Liaising with local distributor for reconciliation of collections and inventory

2. Support Operations in Import process by invoicing of goods and expense management

3. Liaising with banks to manage day-to-day banking needs

4. Analysis of customer purchase behaviour to explore new business opportunity

VII. People Management:

1. Implements day-to-day management, development, and discipline of subordinates

2. Take active part in employee selection, career and skills development, succession planning and team training

3. Evaluates, guides, coaches, and mentors subordinates in the effective performance of assigned tasks
