Responsibilities : - Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition - Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances - Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and support month-end and year-end close process - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and support month-end and year-end close process - Research technical accounting issues for compliance - Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting - Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings. Requirements : - Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of relevant work experience - Well-versed with accounting and reporting practices in India and the USA - Prior experience as a Finance Controller at a USA-incorporated SaaS startup highly preferred - Experience with creating financial statements - Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process - Possesses strong interpersonal skills, due to multiple stakeholder management - Prior startup experience is a plus
