Finance Controller - FinTech Startup - CA (10-15 yrs)
Role : Finance Controller
Industry : Fintech Start up
Location : Bangalore
Responsibilities :
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and support month-end and year-end close process.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Well-versed with accounting and reporting practices in India and the USA.
- Prior experience as a Finance Controller at a USA-incorporated SaaS start-up highly preferred.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills, due to multiple stakeholder management.
- Prior start-up experience is a plus.
