Finance Controller - FinTech/eCommerce - CA

Role : 

- Responsible for the company's overall finance operations, reporting, accounting, and compliance. [i.e. Finance Controllership, Accounting Budgeting, Financial Planning, Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Audits, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Reconciliation, Fund Management, Risk Management, Internal Controls, and Regulatory compliances]

- Build a scalable Controllership team and ensure adequate internal controls and financial discipline in accounting operations.

- Implement appropriate accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all lines of business while ensuring adherence to statutory and accounting principles.

- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. (Co. Law, Labour laws, Direct and Indirect Tax laws, FEMA)

- Responsible for building and maintaining the accounting and financial systems.

- Drive automation efforts across all sub-verticals within finance

- Liaise with external/internal auditors to ensure timely and smooth closure of audits.

Skill :

- Conversant with IND-AS, banking / NBFC regulations, Companies Act, Direct and Indirect Taxation

- Excellent analytical skills and self-driven leader

- Ability to manage large teams (>30) and effective stakeholder management.

Persona :

- CA with 15+ years of experience

- Experience in building and scaling finance teams

- Experience of working in a fast-growing Fintech / E-commerce environment
