Our Ghana based client is one of the leaders in Electrical and Power sector in West African market. The company with its decade old establishment and domain trained resources is serving Power sector and house electrical needs of West Africa.

Location for this position - Accra, Ghana (West Africa)

Job Responsibilities :

Accounting :

- Overseeing Daily Accounting; timely finalisation,

- Adherence to Accounting Standards; local rules and regulations,

- Liaison with statutory Auditor,

- Managing a team of 3-4 persons

Banking & Finance :

- Cash flow projection and overseeing routine banking activities; renewal of facilities with banks,

- Project Finance & Corporate Finance

Indirect Taxation :

MIS :

- Oversee collection of information / data; validation and reporting within time frame.

Budgeting & Budgetary Control :

- Clear understanding of process of budgeting; data collection and interaction with profit center heads; help them fine tune their projection;

- Compilation the overall Budget and submission to Management.

- Carry out budget monitoring activities, variance analysis and suggestion of corrective measures.

Costing : Project costing and Product costing

Education : Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant

Desired profile of the candidate :

- Excellent communication skills

- System and Process oriented

- Strategic thinker and planner

- Must be qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant

- Should have handled independently Accounts & Finance department of a small company or should have handled one or more sections in large organization.
