Exposure of Finance in Middle East will be an added advantage. - We are looking for highly-motivated individual and experienced financial controller in Bangalore/ Pune India, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.&nbsp; - Finance controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management. Job Description:&nbsp; General Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to manage and direct daily accounting activities; ensuring that proper accounting and recording of company transactions are performed in an accurate and timely manner; and producing financial and other key reports for management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp; - Managing all finance and accounting operations - Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances - Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements Responsibilities:&nbsp; - Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition - Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances - Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting - Research technical accounting issues for compliance - Support month-end and year-end close process - Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting - Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls - Additional controller duties as necessary Requirements :&nbsp; - Proven working experience as a Financial controller - 12+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience - Advanced degree in Accounting - Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures - Experience with creating financial statements - Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process - Excellent accounting software user and administration skills Required Skills &amp; Experience - Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA or international equivalent) with a Bachelor's Degree. CPA or CMA preferred - Extensive experience in various aspects of Finance including: Accounting, Financial Systems and Processes, Financial Planning and Analysis, Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliances, Direct and Indirect taxes. - Sound knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and experience in ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other statutory requirements. - Strong leadership skills required and ability to interface and collaborate with senior executive management - Ability to work in a global environment and support internal customers geographically dispersed. Experience of working with US-based clients, stake holders is preferred. Experience of working in the Construction Industry will be an added advantage. - Advanced Microsoft Excel, knowledge and PowerPoint skills. - Experience working in an ERP environment.
