Finance Controller - Chemicals Manufacturing (8-10 yrs)
Finance Controller - MNC chemicals manufacturing
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP (IFRS) standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure entity meet its fiscal and statutory filing as per local requirement and deadlines.
- Ensure strong internal finance controls and guidelines are in place.
- Establish an environment of continuous improvement and eliminate administrative non value added tasks.
- Work with the country/regional business teams and analysis group to ensure that all business opportunities are properly evaluated which include strategic initiatives, capital and working capital investments.
- Work closely with Corporate Treasury and Tax group to have full compliance with local tax rules and regulations, treasury strategy and guidelines.
- Develop, implement and maintain the efficiency of financial & ERP systems and ensure consistency with global procedures & reporting.
- Provide an independent and impartial approach in advising management on financial issues.
Required skills and experience:
- 10 years experience in similar role with country responsibility.
- Experience in manufacturing and chemicals industry is required.
- Experience in SAP system is required.
- Strong finance background with experience in applicable GAAP (IFRS & India).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good knowledge of tax, FX and other local regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills and can lead through influence and persuasion.
- Strong ability in multitasking and prioritization.
- Envisions, implements and champions new and unique improvements.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse organization.
- Operate on a flexible schedule when demand is high.
- Fluent English language skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional Qualification: CA
