Finance Controller

Overview:

- This is a multi-faceted role which primarily focuses on statutory financials, audit, statutory reporting, business accounting, financial controls, budgetary management.

- The person should be from a strong accounting and controllership background who has led similar roles in other HFCs and NBFCs or large audit firms.

Key Responsibilities:

- To Head and supervise closure of monthly / quarterly / annual financials as per IND AS requirements.

- Lead and ensure Statutory Audit / Internal Audit of company and ensure smooth closure without any material observation.

- Keep the watch on continuous changes in regulatory framework as per RBI/NHB and ensuring this to be implementing in company. Lead and support in identification of system requirements as well as implementation of the same.

- Ensure timely closure of financials and Support to the team to ensure booking of correct Income and Expense in system on monthly/quarterly/annual basis,

- Ensure Procedures are followed in preparing the financial statements,

- Lead and ensure the availability of all details required for financial closure and analysis of management,

- Analyze and Review of the all the balances reported in Financials and check it from accuracy of financials point of view.

Education:

- Chartered Accountant

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong Understanding of NBFC/HFC sector

- Functional experience in entire gamut of Finance, Accounts Taxation

- Experience in handling Audit Assignments, Statutory-reporting controllership

- Expertise in handling corporate tax assessments

- Highly efficient and methodical with an eye for detail

- An initiative-taking approach to performance and data accuracy

- Must be articulate while communicating

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Should possess unquestionable personal and professional ethics
