Finance Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controller with a strong background in Tally, GST compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a CA with excellent communication skills and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards, and financial best practices. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining financial integrity and ensuring statutory compliance in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements and reports.

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

- Ensure timely and accurate GST filings, returns, and compliance with all statutory requirements.

- Monitor and manage Tally ERP operations for accounting, payroll, and inventory.

- Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.

- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.

- Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures.

- Supervise junior accountants and finance staff to ensure high-quality output.

- Provide strategic input on budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

- Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and corporate policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

- CA qualification is mandatory; CPA or equivalent may also be considered.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar finance/controller role.

- Strong expertise in Tally ERP, GST, and general accounting practices.

- In-depth understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and MIS reporting.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.

- Proven ability to work independently and manage financial teams.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficient in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.

- Experience in a corporate finance setting is an added advantage.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
