Finance Business Partner

Our client is a leading provider of software products and solutions to the BFSI Industry across multiple geographies

Job Profile :

- Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Business Partner will work closely with business leaders and C-level executives to develop the annual financial plan for the business and provide analytical insights to assist in strategic decision making.

- You will help evaluate growth opportunities, develop business cases, measure operational metrics and KPIs, and identify paths to improve overall productivity, growth and profitability of the business.

- The successful candidate will have demonstrated deep experience from past roles in influencing business leaders and supporting decision-making in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments.

- This role requires a self-starter with strong influencing skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

- This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units , therefore requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Own company's short-term and long-term financial planning and operating performance tracking

- This includes owning the timeline and building detailed financial models and plans at the business unit and functional level and consolidating the overall P&L, capex and cashflow plan

- Act as finance business partner to the CFO, CEO and the Leadership team, providing financial leadership for identified projects and strategic analyses

- Oversee financial monitoring of business performance with focus on the annual budget, rolling forecasts and latest estimates, strategic plans, financial KPIs and leading indicators

- Present financial summary and data-driven business insights to C-suite and senior management

- Prepare management reports with financial analysis and variance analysis

- Embed analytics and KPIs into operating rhythm to effectively measure business performance, financial health and improve overall forecasting and reporting

- Identify underlying financial performance trends and leading business indicators

Candidate Profile :

- MBA (or equivalent) degree in finance, strategy or decision analysis from a top tier university

- 10+ years of relevant Finance experience, with demonstrated ability to perform ad-hoc analysis and advanced financial modeling to support strategic decision-making

- Ability to work in matrixed organization and lead teams in a cross-functional setting

- Excellent business judgment, including strong written and oral communication skills

- Strategic, analytical and pragmatic thinking with sharp commercial and financial acumen

- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in an energetic, fast-paced environment

- Comfortable with ambiguity, creative problem-solving and decision making

- Highly innovative and flexible; ability to work with autonomy

- Strong executive communication skills and proven ability to connect and quickly build relationships at all levels of the organization
