Finance Business Partner - India Commercial - FMCG/Healthcare/Pharma (10-15 yrs)

- Good understanding of financial statements

- Understanding of reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes

- Sound understanding of key financial concepts, solid theoretical background in finance and accounting

- Ability to effectively analyze numerical information, present conclusions and recommendations in a clear way

- Ability to influence business stakeholders

- Ability to work under pressure while keeping high quality of output

- Ability to combine attention to details and understanding the big picture

- Business partnering experience working with multi-disciplinary teams

- 10-15 years relevant experience Minimum 5 years in Business Controllership roles.

Responsibilities :

Active participant in the development and implementation of the Country strategy, specifically ensuring clarity of financial impact of strategic choices including financial evaluation of new businesses and models

- Build and manage effective relationships with key business partners to better influence and shape business priorities.

- Coach business management peers for continuous enhancement of management financial capability

- Set effective and efficient processes to understand, monitor and influence market evolution.

- Identify clearly business opportunities and set ambitious targets accordingly that translates into areas for business focus, resources allocation and high quality business planning input.

- Through relevant short, medium and long term financial planning and monitoring, drive the effective and efficient delivery of Country goals, with sound financial analysis and advice.

- For all key investment decisions, provide accurate and informative appraisals that drive appropriate resource allocation.

- Provide Country management with sound risk based analysis on potential impacts, implications and propose potential ways to improve risk management on key economic exposures. In partnership with the business define, implement and monitor key performance metrics.

- Through detailed financial analysis of key financial information, provide management with fact based impartial financial advice.

- Provide the linkage between the Country, Territory and Regional organizations, ensuring timely, accurate, effective and transparent flow of information and data.

- Provide timely and relevant financial analysis/reports for Commercial/Functional leaders in order support key business decisions and validate results against KPI's.

- Coordinate the country forecasting processes (i.e. Weekly Sales Forecast (WSF), monthly Last Plan, quarterly Latest Estimates (LE's) and annual Budgets) in order to ensure timely completion, accurate information and qualitative financial input.

- Consolidation of country financial performance and commentaries in monthly reporting pack for Territory Management Business Reviews (MBR's).

- Supervise consolidation of Country P&L particularly in respect of Sales/Gross Profit and Function Costs and provide explanations, commentaries and analysis to Regional/Global Finance.

- Support country/regional Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process with financial input and participation (either directly or through team) and Pre-ESOP meetings.

- Support Ad hoc analysis, projects and requests as necessary to enable decision support

- Play a leadership role in selection, coaching and development of more junior team members
