Job Description : Role - Finance Analyst (Record to Report) (Qualified CA/Inter CA/M.Com) Experience - 3-6 yrs Location - Mumbai Responsibilities: - Ensure all month-end and year end actual closing activities are performed on a timely basis according to corporate timelines - Prepare all relevant monthly journals (eg: for overheads and advertising & promotion expenses, MPV, MAPA, insurance, and lease accounting journals) per accounting policy - Ensure reconciliation of sub-ledgers (Inventory control account and Fixed Assets) to General Ledger - Monitor actual on Obsolescence provision provided by FP&A - Responsible for Intercompany recharge transactions, Royalty actual and Intercompany confirmations, and to record Intercompany transactions according to Corporate Transfer Pricing and Intercompany Policies - Perform monthly BS accounts reconciliation (including bank reconciliation) - Maintain master record of Cost Centre, Internal Order, and Chart of Accounts in ERP per Corporate requirement - Perform standard cost upload into system - Maintain record of Inventory reconciliation - Submit Cash report, ensure an optimal cash position and fund arrangement with International Treasury Centre if required - Submit monthly Actual, quarterly Day 2 estimate P&L in LongView on a timely basis - Submit Year-end reporting packages and tax schedules per corporate requirement Tax/Audit per Statutory Requirement: - To prepare annual tax returns for review and submission by the Company tax representatives - To ensure timely payment application of Corporate tax for processing - To ensure filing monthly and annual returns and audit for GST by 3rd party vendor - To ensure filing quarterly and annual returns for TDS and TCS by 3rd party vendor - To ensure the Company conforms to all legal taxation, and other government requirements and that adequate documentation is maintained in respect of compliance - To liaise with Company Auditor to ensure the annual audit is completed, and Statutory Accounts prepared on a timely basis Fixed Asset Accounting- - To ensure the fixed assets register is updated monthly and reconciled to General Ledger - To monitor Fixed Assets and custody Others - To perform SAP testing with Global impact Record To Report, Purchase to Pay (Accounts Payable), and Order to Cash (CFS). - To make sure SOX compliant and internal control in place on respective areas per Company policies, procedures, and accounting standard. - Participations in the implementation of process improvement initiatives and other adhoc activities identified by Management. Experience required: - Candidate must have at least a Degree in Accounting and Finance - Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant and have professional qualifications in ACCA (or equivalent) Must have: - Solid understanding of R2R processes gained internally in Hasbro or by previous experience as a Finance BP in similar function in large multinational organisation (5 years+) - Solid knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and local Indian GAAP for tax and accounting Nice to have: - Familiarity with ERP (SAP B1 preferably) and Reporting softwares (LongView preferably) - Shared Service experience of General Ledger and Reporting.
