Job description:
Exp : 5 - 8 Years
- Support development of Business Plan by working with Functional teams, and ensuring alignment with Corporate Direction.
- Play a key role in evaluating the Function's performance and identify opportunities to improve the Profitability of the Company.
- Ensure adequate Financial Controls for the Function
- Perform Accounting activities as required to support the Function (e.g., Book Close, Accrual Journals, Account Reconciliations etc.) and comply with the relevant statutory requirements as well as Ford Finance manual
- Interface with the Profit Consolidation team to ensure the forecasts are timely submitted for consolidation and lead the reviews on Revenue/Cost Performance.
- Support and maintain systems used for financial reporting and make necessary upgrades as per requirement of the management
- Support Special Studies (viz. business cases, scenario planning, decision support, evidence based analysis and recommendations), as required from time to time
- Implement standardization and automation of business processes, where applicable.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver ongoing tracking, reporting and assessment of the Function's performance
- Financial, operational and strategic goals and initiatives.
- Provide financial reports, analyses and presentations for Finance & Functional leadership
- Support the development of Function's Budget / Forecast / Business Plan and management review
- Prepare issue-to-issue, quarter-over-quarter, budget performance, and year-over-year schedules to support analytical requirements and management reviews explaining key drivers for variances
- Prepare financial and other impact of any investment proposal, including financial modeling, IRR / NPV analysis, (e.g., buy vs lease; investment benefits etc.) and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Review / implement Control processes to minimize business risk to the Company
- Support and implement continuous improvement ideas and innovation to enhance the cost efficiency and effectiveness of process/tools
- Support any urgent / unplanned request for special project / Business cases / Benchmarking etc.
- Foster open communication and cordial relationship with functional teams

- Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, modeling, pivot tables, macros and charts)
- Technical knowledge in applications such as Alteryx, Hyperion, PeopleSoft preferable
- PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook and Word
Functional / Technical Skills (Preferred):
Experience with Financial and Accounting Concepts and Analysis, preparation of Budgets / Business plans / Forecasts preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment
Experience/Education:
- 3-5 years of financial analysis and /or accounting experience
- CA, CWA, MBA (Finance), Engineer with MBA (Finance)
- Semi-qualified CA / CWA with relevant experience may be considered
